Hello everyone — it’s been a while. In fact, I haven’t written here in years, and so much has changed since my last post about finishing my MSc in Digital Marketing at UCD Michael Smurfit and starting my role at FoodCloud.

In April 2025, I wrapped up almost 4 wonderful years at FoodCloud, finishing as Digital Marketing Manager. It was an incredible journey, working with mission-driven teams, driving campaigns that mattered, and growing both professionally and personally.

Since then, my journey has taken me across new roles, countries, and experiences:

  • Returning to Datça to fully immerse myself in running Hello İncem, my family’s boutique, blending entrepreneurship with digital strategy, community building, and storytelling
  • Attending festivals across multiple countries, travelling, and reconnecting with friends, creating moments that grounded me and expanded my perspective
  • Freelancing and mentoring, helping students and emerging marketers build their skills while reflecting on my own

  • Delivering MSc classes, sharing digital marketing insights, and speaking at events like Dublin Digital Marketing 2023
  • Engaging with my alma mater, mentoring, and speaking on digital marketing — seeing the impact of sharing knowledge firsthand
  • Milestones like securing Stamp 4, embracing a new “home” in Dublin, and navigating a return after months away

Looking back, the past year has been a mix of challenge, learning, and rediscovery. I’ve been calling it my “Tetris plan” — I know the shape of where I’m going, but the smaller pieces are still falling into place.

  • Careers are rarely linear. My path blends digital strategy, content, community, and entrepreneurship, each role shaping how I connect people, platforms, and purpose.
  • Growth comes from experience, risk, and curiosity. Festivals, travel, and new connections remind me to approach challenges with perspective and joy.
  • Knowledge shared is knowledge multiplied. Mentoring students, delivering classes, and speaking at events sharpened both my expertise and communication.
  • Home is what you make of it. Returning to Dublin, reconnecting with friends, colleagues, and community reminds me that relationships anchor work, life, and creativity.

Professionally, I’m now #opentowork for Dublin-based roles where I can bring together:

I’m ideally looking for client-facing roles that combine strategy, digital expertise, and relationship-building — a place where creativity meets impact and ideas become stories that resonate.

This space will also be a place for me to share thoughts on digital marketing, storytelling, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and the in-between moments that often get overlooked.

If you’re navigating change, exploring new opportunities, or simply curious about building campaigns that connect with audiences in meaningful ways, stick around. Let’s figure it out together.
