- Grew our social media community in 2 platforms by 80% in 3 months by developing relevant content/stories with the current market trends
Social Media Strategy
- Create a great mix of features and shorts, so the selections are not always drama or comedy.
- A good balance is crucial.
- Place BirdBox.Film Club according to partnerships, movie launches and special days
- Collect visuals for the selected titles
- A mixture of movie shots with behind the stage shots work well
- Curate content:
- Movie description to introduce the titles to the audience
- Interesting facts, goofs to attract the hardcore film enthusiasts
- Reviews to persuade people why they should watch it
- Research keywords to use as hashtags; make sure these are accurate keywords which people will use to find such content. Always use a mixture of branded hashtags with small & big volume hashtags.
- For blog posts, do keyword research before starting the content. Keep it short and bold. Always cross-promote blog posts on social media channels and vice-versa.
- Reels are still a mystery on Instagram; we use them for cuts of the trailer to show the most intriguing bits. We also post the full version of the trailers on Facebook, as Facebook reacts well to videos.
- Always tag the talent and the movie crew if they are on social media (Instagram only)
- Use the same mixture of hashtags from the main post and add in reels hashtags
- Keep reels on the grid to track who is resharing the reels and also to keep them visible
- We maximised our exposure with 7 posts weekly with 2 reels (2 videos on Faacebook.)
- Our email marketing goes twice a week to announce the chosen feature and short that week, and 2 more emails during the BirdBox.Film Club
- Emails are short and bold with easy CTAs
- We follow benchmark examples to reduce our bounce-through rate
- We also capitalise our social media channels as a fast support system. We react fast and make sure our customers are happy with our services and show that once again they can reach us at any time.

- Fridays are for educating content, we share similar educating content to Dr. Linda Yang’s workshops
- A mixture of more professional content on LinkedIn and more fun content on Intagram
