Hello everyone! How are you all feeling today? Hope all is good! Can you believe it is almost 2021? Because I cannot.

So much happened this year. I will be doing another “new year” post later, if you haven’t seen the last recap, please have a look.  On that later post I will dive deep in what I have done this year what I expect from next year because I want to talk about something else with you today. And it is my journey with Acadium. If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the post I wrote about how my journey started as a digital marketer. It was at the beginning of my Acadium Ambassadorship Programme, two and a half months ago. And now this post is to commemorate the end of this programme.

So what have I done & learned during this past 2.5 months:

Reddit is a legit website!

I always thought Reddit was for fun, and it was a dark hole on the internet. I have never actually used it, but I thought I knew what it was. Well, apparently, I didn’t. I learned how to use Reddit as a marketing platform, I got in conversations with people. Believe it or not, I even helped a few people to build their LinkedIn profiles. Even better I talked about Acadium with those people, I helped them sign up for Acadium. It was a moment of success to me, being able to tell my story and impress them with it and turn it into a “sale.

I always used LinkedIn actively but not as active as I was during the programme. Following tasks kept me productive, and it pushed me to create more and more, which was essentially a good thing. I have posted almost one piece of content each week, it got traction on my account. I met people online had meaningful conversations. I know that I will try to keep posting as much as I was doing while I was on the programme. 

I have found my crowd!

You might find it cheesy, but I am going to repeat it. I met beautiful people working on the programme. I feel so lucky that I have a group of digital marketing warriors at reach. Sharing ideas and exchanging strategies with them is just so much fun, I have never had that before. Because I have surrounded myself with mostly lawyers thanks to my 2 years IP Office experience and then finance/sales people thanks to my undergraduate studies. So finally having a crowd that understands me, knows why I get so excited when I reach 300 views on an article is precious.

I look forward to collaborating with my cohort and beyond in the future. I have newly started this whole digital marketing journey, so I am learning something new every day. So, I can genuinely say that this Acadium programme taught me a lot and introduced me to so many beautiful people, extended my network and helped & taught me how to create a portfolio.

It is important to go after what you want in life. Also to know that things won’t be served to you on a golden plate. You have to work hard and work harder the next day to get what you want. There will be curves there will be bumps, but they will only make you stronger. So just keep going, you can do it, we can all do it! Don’t let anything or anybody pull you down.
