En son yazimda bahsetmistim bekledigimiz bir etkinlik daha oldugunu. 1-2 Ekim’de Kucukciftlikpark’da gerceklesecek olan Garden Sale. Maalesef calistigim icin sadece 1 Ekim’de kine katilabildik bizimkilerle. Ama galiba en guzel gunde oydu.

I mentioned about an event that we were waiting for in my last post. Garden Sale that will be held in October 1-2 in Kucukciftlikpark. Unfortunately because of my work we were only able to attend it on the first day. But i guess it was the best day.

Aslinda acik hava festivali temelde, ufak farkli farkli butiklerin gelip katildigi, muzisyenlerin eslik ettigi guzel bir festival. Ama Sattas’in o gruplarda biri oldugunu ve 1 Ekim kapanisini yapacagini duydugumda, tam anlamiyla havalara ucuyordum zipliyordum. Tekrar edebilirim, Sattas gercekten inanilmaz yetenekli bir grup ve ben onlara tapiyorum. Bu arada hava biraz ruzgarliydi ama cok da problem olmadi acikcasi, sonucta mutlusun, dans ediyorsun ve tabiki de arkadaslarinlasin.

Basically it is an open air festival with lots of different small boutiques accompanied by various talented singers and bands. But, when i heard that Sattas is going to play in the event, as the first day closing band, i was literally flying and jumping around. Once again they are a very special talented band that i adore. I have been watching them for some time now, attending all the event I can. The weather was kind of breezy but that wasn’t a huge problem when you  are happy, dancing and of course with great friends. Also let’s not forget the alcohol.

Daha once ICAF’a beraber gittigim insanciklarlaydim. Gercekten cok degerli tatli arkadaslarim onlar. Ozge ve Doga, benim kadar deli olan diger degisikler.

I was with the same human beings that i was in ICAF. They are really good friends of mine. Ozge and Doga, the other weirdos that are as crazy as i am. ❤️

Benim ufaktan plaklara karsi bir zaafim var, ama yeni olanlara degil, eski olanlara. Hani calarken muzigin arkasindan ses gelenlerden, yanlis olmasin cizirti diyelim ona. 4 tane aldim iste eskilerinden bulunca dayanamayip. Neil Diamond, Cats’in bir Almanya kaydi, REM ve adi “Let’s have a Bonnie&Clyde Time” olan bir kayit. Eger az buz biliyorsaniz yeni plaklarin fiyatlarini, durustce soyleyebilirim ki benim aldiklarim onlarin yaninda tofas filan kalir.

I kind of have a crush on records, but not the new ones, the old ones i like. The ones that you can actually hear noises behind the music, well not noises but grains. I bought 4 of them. Neil Diamond, a German record of Cats, REM and a record called “Let’s have a Bonnie&Clyde Time”. If you have a little information about the new records prices, i can say that the ones i bought are way way cheaper than those new ones.

Bu arada Garden Sale ile geceyi bitirmedik. Sattas’i dinleyip, dans edip ve solist Orcun Sunear ile fotograf cektirdikten sonra Karakoy’e, ZOOM Organizasyon tarafindan Marjo’da duzenlenen ”Bir Karakoy Hatirasi” adli organizasyona gectik. Tabi kide eglenceli guzel bir organizasyondu ama daha iyisini yapabilirlerdi. Mesela sectikleri cadde cok ufakti, hareket edicek dans edicek alan yoktu resmen. Ve fiyatlar normalde festivallerden alisik oldugumuz fiyatlardan biraz daha fazlaydi. Ama tabiki dogru insanciklarla cok eglenceli bir geceydi.

Garden Sale was not the end of the day for us. After we listened Sattas and danced like no-one is watching and took a picture of us with the singer Orcun Sunear, we went to Karakoy for the “A Karakoy Memory” organised by ZOOM Organisation in Marjo. It was super fun obviously but there were things that could have been planned a lot better. For example the street they chose was way too small for an event like this. There were basically no place to move or dance. Other then that i think the prices were held a little bit higher than the usual prices that we are comfortable with. But again it was fun with the right human beings. And I will always recommend Karakoy for a nice day, so much to do!
