Gectigimiz yaz arkadaslarim ile tekne turuna cikmaya karar verdik. Sabah erkenden uyanip Datca’ya indik tekne turu icin. Teknede sadece max 20 kisi olmasi acikcasi biraz mutlu etti bizi. Biz bize eglenebilicegimizi dusunduk cunku. Tekne durdugu bir durakta teknenin ust katindan atlama karari aldik (klasik aksiyon) ancak ben biraz korktum ve ben atlamaya hazirlanirken arkadasim benden once atlayan 20-25 yaslari arasinda ki genc icin “Baksana amca bile atliyor” dedi ve bu sekilde Sattas grubu ile tanistik. Atlayan grubun solisti Orcun Suneardi ve grubun geri kalani da sudaydi. Aksam Eclips’de cikicaklarini soylediler ve dinlememiz gerektigini soylediler kendilerini. Bizde oyle yaptik aksam konserlerine gittik. Mukemmellerdi, hem sahneye hem seyirciye hakimdiler. Yerimizde duramadik tabi dans ettik. Bu olay Temmuz 15’de yasandi.
Last summer me and my friends decided to take a boat tour. I woke up pretty early and went to Datca for the trip. Well, we were happy that there were approximately 20 people on the boat. We thought it would be more fun. When the boat stopped in a bay we decided to jump off from the top floor of the boat (the classic fun) but I got a little scared and while I was getting ready to jump off, my friend called out the guy aged 20-25 who jumped right before me “ look even the old guy is jumping”, and that’s how we met the band. That “ old guy “ was the soloist Orcun Sunear and the rest of the band was already in the water. They told us that they were be playing in Eclipse and that we should listen to them. So that’s what we did. They were amazing, they had the audience and the stage dancing jumping like crazy. We couldn’t stay still and danced the whole night. This happened on July 15.

2015’in son gunu olan Aralik 31’inde Dorock XL’da cikacaklarini ogrendim. Ve cok yakin bir arkadasim olan Pamir’i ikna ettim onlari dinlemeye gittik. Tabi alkolunde verdigi cesaret ile onlara yazdim ve kuliste fotograf cekilmek istedim. Hatirladilar beni ufak bir sohbet ettik, tabi ben cok sevindim yaklasik 5 ay onceki bir olayi ve kisiyi hatirlamalarina.
I learned that they will be playing on December 31 in Dorock XL. I told my friend Pamir about it and we decided to go see them together. Well, thanks to liquid courage I wrote to them and went to see them. They remembered me and we chatted a little bit. And it was amazing I felt really good, it was so nice of them to remember me. It was a really nice way to enter the new year. The whole bar was dancing and singing a long.
2016 Agustos 20’de yine Datca’ya geleceklerini duydum ve inanin daha fazla sevinemezdim. Cunku gercekten cok samimi ve seyirciyle icice eglenen bir grup. Bu sefer DadyaDost’da ciktilar. Orcun Sunear’a “Bak amca bile atladi” diyen cok sevgili arkadsim, isim vermiyim, ile izlemeye gittik. Bir sure dedim ki bu sefer biraz daha sakin oluyim ama maalesef olamadim ve yine delicesine dans ettim. Cok eglendik.
I heard Sattas was going to come to Datca again on August 20th, 2016 and believe me I was super happy. Because they are a super warm and friendly band. This time they performed in DadyaDost. I took that friend called Orcun Sunear “ old guy”, let’s not give the name. At first, I thought I should stay a little chill, but couldn’t stop myself and danced the whole night again. It was super fun. They are that kind of band that you just cannot get enough.
Sattas, Turkiye’nin gurur duymasi gereken ve taninmasina daha da yardimci olmasi gerekn bir grup ki Sziget’telerdi bu sene. Ve reggae muzik hakettigi degeri saygiyi goremiyor ki Sattas buna kendi tarzinida katip citayi yukseltiyor. Bu yuzden herkese onerim onlari bir kere bile olsa dinlemeleri.
Sattas , is a group that Turkey should be proud of and support. And they even got into Sziget. And I think that reggae music doesn’t get the attention it deserves. So I am telling everyone to give it a shot and listen to them.
