Yaklasik 1 senedir gorusmedigim bir kac arkadasim ile gorusmek icin nereye gitsek diye dusunurken neden Kadikoy’e gitmiyoruz dedik. Cunku hicbirimizin benim  Kadikoy Kulturu  diye adlandirdigim aliskanligimiz olmadi. Kadikoy Kulturu benim icin dershane yilarini genclik yillarini Kadikoy’de gecirip nerede ne yenir ne nerdedir bilen kesimdir. Ve biz 3 kiz maalesef ki o kesimden degildik. Bu yuzden ufak bir Kadikoy kesfi yapalim dedik.

While i was thinking about a place to meet with my friends that i haven’t seen for a year, we thought why not go to Kadikoy. Because neither of us has the habit i call Kadikoy Culture.Kadikoy Culture is the people who spent their youth and Dershane years in Kadikoy, and now what to eat where to eat where to find things. And unfortunately we 3 girls are not from that section. So we decided to explore Kadikoy a bit.

Ilk duragimiz benim uzunca bir suredir listemde olan ve gercekten gormek icin can attigim yakindan takip ettigim Walter’s Coffee. Kimyasal ve minimalist bir dukkan. Tam bir Breaking Bad denebilir galiba. Cok etkileyici bir dizayni ve atmosferi var aslinda. Ilk farkettigim sey giriste solda kalan buyuk Periyodik tablo oldu. Tabi ders calisan insanlar da musterilerin buyuk bir kismini kapsiyor acickasi ki buda ilginc bence. Dukkanda satilan Walter’s Coffee temali urunlere de hayran kaldim. Tatliyi gercekten seven biri olarak cookilerinden tatmadan gecmedim tabi ki de, ve ictenlikle cok lezzetli olduklarini dile getirebilirim. Iceride egitim alinan bir kisim var galiba acikcasi sormaya firsatim olmadi malum 3 kadin biraraya gelince dedikodunun dibine vurunulabiliyor. Ama disaridan gordugum kadari ile bir kahve egitimi veriliyor gibiydi. Gercekten zamanini buldugum zaman benim almak istedigim bir egitim ve size de oneririm. Ne ictiginizi kahvenizin hikayesini bilmek bence cok etkileyici.

First stop was Walter’s Coffee, it was on my list for so long and i was following them closely. Chemical and minimalist. It is actually a Breaking Bad theme cafe. Super impressive design and atmosphere. The first thing i noticed was the huge Periodic Table on the left of the shop when you enter.  The studying and working people are most of the customers which i found interesting. I adored the souvenirs with Walter’s Coffee theme. And for a person like me that adores deserts, i didn’t skipped the cookies and it was delicious. There was a small place for coffee education i guess, i didn’t got the chance to ask since we were 3 women gossiping deeply. But it looks like an education office for coffee. I personally really want to get that education when i find the enough time. To know what you are drinking and the story of your coffee is pretty impressive. 

Buradan kalktiktan sonra biraz alisveris yapalim dedik. Ufak butiklere bakalim farkli dukkanlar gorelim istedik acikcasi. Tabi hicbirimiz de yol iz bilmiyoruz, dogaclama yaptik o yuzden yol bizi nereye goturuyorsa oraya gittik gibi birsey oldu. Ama cok guzel ufak dukkanlar bulduk.

After we left the coffee shop we decided to go for a little shopping spree. Actually we want to see some little shops and boutiques. But of course we have no idea about the ways and where to go so we improvised and we let the roads lead us. But we found some really cute stores. 

1.Liman

Kartpostallar, afisler, dekoratif urunler satan ufak ama kafa bir dukkan.

A cool store selling postcards, banners, and other decorative objects.

2.Punta

Farkli farkli yetenkli tasarimcilarin urunlerini bir araya getiren inanilmaz cool, mukemmel dizayn edilmis, cok tatli calisanalri olan kucuk bir yasam alani. Gordugum cogu butikten daha guzel olan beni kendine asik eden yer.

A cool and elegant living space with cool designs from  miscellaneous talented designers. Better than most of the boutiques i have ever seen. It made me fell for it. 

3.Irma Boutique

Bir suredir vintage gozluk ariyorum ben. Ve genelde bulmasi zor olan bir model ariyordum buldukalarim da fiyat olan cok pahalilardi. Pes etmeye yaklasmistim diyebilirim. Sonra bu dukkan karsima cikti ve aradigim gozlugu buldum. Eger vintage gozluk ariyorsaniz ve cok da pahali olmasin ama kaliteli olsun diyorsaniz bence sizin gidiceginiz aradiginiz yer burasi.

I have been looking for a vintage sunglasses for a while. I wanted it to be vintage and not some vintage looking new production. I was almost giving up. Then this store came up and i found the one i was searching for. If you are looking for vintage sunglasses and don’t want it to be too expensive but high quality, this is the store you have been searching for. They somehow get vintage glasses all over France and Germany. Like real vintage from war times.
